So working with JUNOS for the first time is quite daunting – every time I had been in a DC, I had always seen Juniper equipment but I had never actually touched any of it. Coming from Cisco – I wasn’t sure what Juniper had to offer so I had to do some research. I found some interesting things.
Note: as of 2018 the conversion tool has been deprecated
For a quick peek at JUNOS, make sure that you have a Juniper login and go to:
https://i2j.juniper.net/release/index.jsp
They will provide you with a CISCO IOS TO JUNOS converter – which will convert your configs over.
This way you can see the difference between the configuration files of JUNOS and Cisco IOS.
